Low Voltage VFDs

Low Voltage VFDs The application of Variable Freqency Drives (VFD) has increased significantly since I initally wrote courses on VFDs 10 years ago. This course will present the electrical and mechanical enngineering utilized to specify adjustable speed drive and include case studies for projects completed over the past 10 years, like the Sky Diving Wind Tunnel Motor and Drive System and the Replacement of the MG Set for the Gateway (St. Louis) Arc trams, pointing out the design of the power system and the control systems which are unique to using Low Voltage VFDs.
